Black and white medium close up portrait of a man wearing a British Fleet Air Arm uniform with a hat. There is a New Zealand Shoulder Title and a Fleet Air Arm Leading Rate patch on his tunic. This image is on the left-hand side of a sheet of film containing two separate exposures. The two portraits are almost identical, except for in the image on the right, he is smiling with his teeth. The negative (labelled a) was accompanied by one small black and white print of the image on the right side of the negative (labelled b).
