The negative (labelled a) was accompanied by one proof (labelled b) . Written on the back of the proof in pencil is "X 2". The negative and proof were stored in a brown paper bag with "5957 Sgt. Hammond 2 - 8x10 - 5.00 Dep 2- - 3.00" written on it in blue ink.
