The negative (labelled a) was accompanied by one proof (labelled b). Written on the back of the proof in pencil is "this one". The negative and proof were stored in a brown paper bag with "5952 Mr & Mrs Hamilton 12 - 6x8 - 15.00 Dep 5 - 10.00" written on it in blue ink.
