Plane Crash

about 1940-1944

Black and white image of an airplane that crashed into a field. The airplane landed on a fence. The wrecked wings, nose and cockpit area of the airplane are visible through a wheat field. "1296" is painted on the airplane near the tail. The negative was kept in a small brown paper bag with "5969 Plane Crash Sky Harbour" written on it in pencil and black ink. Also in the paper bag were additional 5 additional images of the plane crash (A992.0003.207, A992.0003.208, A992.0003.209, A992.0003.210, A992.0003.211).
