Plane Crash
about 1940-1944
Black and white image of an airplane that crashed into a field. The airplane landed on a fence. The back end of the airplane looks undamaged but the wing of the plane is bent on a 90 degree angle. "1296" is painted near the tail of the plane and on the wing that is twisted. There are several trees visible in the background of the picture. The negative was kept in a small brown paper bag with "5969 Plane Crash Sky Harbour" written on it in pencil and black ink. Also in the paper bag were additional 5 additional images of the plane crash (A992.0003.207, A992.0003.208, A992.0003.209, A992.0003.210, A992.0003.212).
