She is wearing a long veil, glasses, and a double stranded necklace. She is holding a bouquet of flowers. There are trees and a fence in the background of the picture. The negative (labelled a) was accompanied by one proof (labelled b). The negative, print and proof were kept in a brown envelope with "1113 Miss Lavis Deposit 10.00 Sepia? Write Mrs Lavis 35 Raglan Ave Toronto Best one of Bride 8 more B & G" written on it in pencil. Also in the envelope were additional pictures of the wedding party and just the bride (A992.0003.202, A992.0003.203, A992.0003.204, A992.0003.206).
