The groom is wearing an air force uniform with an RCAF Eagle Shoulder Flash, Canada Shoulder Title and Corporal Chevrons on his sleeves and glasses. The bride is wearing a floor-length light coloured dress with long sleeves. She is wearing a long veil, glasses, and a double stranded necklace. She is holding a bouquet of flowers. There are trees and a fence in the background of the picture. The negative (labelled a) was accompanied by six black and white prints (labelled b - g) and one proof (labelled h). The negative, print and proof were kept in a brown envelope with "1113 Miss Lavis Deposit 10.00 Sepia? Write Mrs Lavis 35 Raglan Ave Toronto Best one of Bride 8 more B & G" written on it in pencil. Also in the envelope were additional pictures of the wedding party and just the bride (A992.0003.202, A992.0003.203, A992.0003.205, A992.0003.206).
