F/O Fisher Wedding Party
about 1940-1945
Black and white image of a bride and groom and their wedding party having their picture taken in a studio. The groom and the man standing to his right are both wearing RCAF uniforms. The groom has a Navigator badge on his jacket and the man to his right has a Bomb Aimer badge on his jacket. The bride is wearing a knee length dress that has ruffles around the waist, cuffs of the sleeves, and around the collar. The woman standing to her left is also wearing a knee length dress with ruffles around the sleeve cuffs, a floral corsage, and a hat. Both of the women are wearing gloves. The bride and groom are holding hands. The negative (labelled a) was accompanied by one proof (labelled b). The negative and proof were kept in a brown envelope with "1094 F/O Fisher c/o John Snell Londesborough 5 of group 18 B & G 3 B - 26 portraits 16.50" written on it in blue ink and pencil. Also in the envelope were additional pictures of just the bride and of the wedding party (A992.0003.198, A992.0003.200) and correspondence with Mr. Henderson (A992.0003.201).
