F/O Fisher Wedding
about 1940-1945
Black and white image of a bride and groom having their picture taken in a studio. The groom is wearing an RCAF uniform with a Navigator badge and the bride is wearing a knee length dress that has ruffles around the waist, cuffs of the sleeves, and around the collar. She is wearing a large floral corsage trimmed with ribbons and a hat. The bride and groom are holding hands. The negative (labelled a) was accompanied by one proof (labelled b). The negative and proof were kept in a brown envelope with "1094 F/O Fisher c/o John Snell Londesborough 5 of group 18 B & G 3 B - 26 portraits 16.50" written on it in blue ink and pencil. Also in the envelope were additional pictures of just the bride and of the wedding party (A992.0003.199, A992.0003.200) and correspondence with Mr. Henderson (A992.0003.201).
