Cranston's Furniture
about 1940-1945
Black and white image of a store window with a display encouraging people to buy victory bonds. "Cranston's Furniture" is printed on the store window. The display consists of Union Jack flags, propaganda posters promoting the sale of victory bonds, an assortment of dolls, textiles and furniture. There are two large V's that start at the bottom of the pane and go to the top of the window. The negative was kept in a brown envelope with "1008 Victory Loan Windows" written on it in blue ink and pencil. Also in the envelope were two negatives of other store windows advertising victory bonds (A992.0003.193 & A992.0003.195).
