The picture was taken inside a studio. The negative (labelled a) was accompanied by one proof (labelled b). The negative and proof were kept in a brown envelope with "1016 L.A.C. & Mrs. Kempsler 6 - 8 x 10 group 6 - 8 x 10 B-G - 19.00 Dp 2 - $17.00" written on it in ink. Also in the envelope was a picture of the wedding party (A992.0003.186).
