Holmes Weddings
about 1940-1945
Black and white image of a man and woman standing beside each other outside with a house visible in the background. The man is wearing a uniform with Lead Aircraftman badges on the sleeves and the woman is wearing a knee length dress, hat and veil, and carrying a bouquet of flowers. The negative (labelled a) was accompanied by two proofs (labelled b & c). The negative and photographs were kept in a brown envelope with "973 Holmes Weddings" written on it in blue ink and pencil. Also in the envelope were two images of the couples (A992.003.179, A992.003.180).
