No. 3 or No. 4 Air Observer's Course

Black and white image of No. 3 or No. 4 Air Observer's Course at No. 31 Air Navigation School in Port Albert. There are two rows of men in uniform. The back row is standing and the front row is sitting on chairs inside. In all copies of the photograph the men are identified. In the negative and four of the photographs all the names of the men appear at the bottom of the picture. In the negative a faint number 3 can be made out in the bottom right hand corner. In one picture the names are written at the top and bottom of the picture with "No 4" in the top right hand corner in red ink. Back Row (L to R): Sgt. Sanders, Sgt. Bennett, Sgt. Lewis, Sgt. Coe, Sgt. Mansel Front Row (L to R): P/O Dej, F/O Harrison, P/O Hall, P/O Bagnald, F/O Rogalski, P/O Carter, F/O Voellnagel Original negative (labelled a) accompanied by 5 black and white photographs with different exposures (labelled b - f). The photographs and negative were kept in a brown envelope with "865 Port Albert Jan 6/41 Group 3 Pr 8 Pr One" written on it in pencil.
