No. 5 Air Observer's Course

Black and white image of No. 5 Air Observer's Course at No. 31 Air Navigation School in Port Albert. There are two rows of men in uniform. The back row is standing and the front row is sitting on chairs inside. In some copies of the photograph, the men in the picture are identified. Included with the pictures is a letter from the Flight Lieutenant of ANS 31 regarding ordering pictures (labelled b). Back Row (L to R): E.E. Patchett, Robson, O'Grady, Evans, Gales, Elmy, Binham, Mitchell, Hooper, Cooper Front Row (L to R): Dowding, Bolesworth, Marr, Davies, Hemelik, Boissier, Morgan, Clarkson, Baden, A.V. Patchett. Original negative (labelled a) accompanied by 6 sepia photographs with different exposures (labelled c - h). The photographs and negative were kept in an unmarked black envelope.
