Black and white image of class 11 of No. 12 Elementary Flight Training School. There are three rows of men in uniform. The back and middle row are standing and the front row is sitting and kneeling on a runway with 3 airplanes visible in the background. The men in the middle row are wearing darker uniforms than the other men in the picture. Back Row (left to right): Seward, Elwell, Biggs, Fling, Best, Irvine Middle Row: F.O. Webb, Turvey, H.D., Tovey, Templeton, Prentice, Tracey, MacGregor, Walker, Davis, Timberlake, Read [?], K[?], Potherary [?], Graham, G.A., Challenger, Teaver, Sgt. Elliot Front row: Plasent [?], Swann, Dashper, Rutherford, Bonia [?], Lister, Herbst [?], Gilles, Stewart, Clark, Graham, R.A., Miller, Pratt, Smith Sam Hanan not present when picture taken. There are 7 black and white photographs with different exposures (labelled a-g) and 2 negative (labelled h and i). The photographs and negative were in a black envelope with "896 Sky Harbour Sent 18 F/3" written in pencil and "11" written in blue pencil on a brown label in the top left hand corner.
